Mercedes-Benz has announced a first of its kind.  The release of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet.  Due to be unveiled in August of 2016, the launch of a C-Class cabriolet has been long overdue and highly sought after by those looking for an entry level Mercedes-Benz convertible.  Here is a sneak peek at this highly anticipated addition to the C-Class stable.

EXTERIOR

With the top up or down, the lines of this vehicle are as fluid as molten metal.  Its well-appointed attributes mirror that of its larger brethren, the S-Class Convertible.  It is sporty, sexy, and just screams, “Let’s go play!”

  • The C-Class Cabrio will likely be released as a C300, C300 4Matic and Mercedes-AMG C63.
  • The C300 cars will come with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four with 241 horsepower while the C63 and C63 S models will come with 469 and 503 hp respectively, generated from a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8.
  • The C Class Cabriolet gives riders the options to choose from a couple of soft top colors unlike usual convertibles that only have black. The other colors include dark brown, dark blue as well as an eye catching dark red.

 

INTERIOR

The cabriolet is set to offer similar features found on the new coupe.

The cabriolet is also equipped with trim levels coming with Airscarf feature which utilizes HVAC vents in the headrests to keep the people inside warm in chilly days even if the roof is brought down.

As of now, the total cost of one has not yet been disclosed but as C300 and C43 hitting automobile stores in late summer and fall, respectively, slowly gets near, fans will definitely more information about the cars.
